Using a light touch to make minor changes to your garden may be all that you need.
I can create either a general, outline plan or one with more detail, depending on your individual requirements. The plans may include changes to the lay-out, detailed planting plans, advice about different materials and the general management of your garden.
The garden design process will vary depending on the level of work to be done, but will always include the following three stages:
1.THE INITIAL VISIT
to discuss the changes you want to make to the garden and what aspects of the garden design process could be used. A quotation for the design fees and an idea of the costs for the initial stages will be sent following this meeting.
2.THE CONSULTATION
is where we discuss your garden in detail, what works and what doesn’t, what you like to use it for and how you would like it to look.
3. THE SITE SURVEY
of the garden is necessary to generate a scaled plan of the existing garden. All concepts and design work are based on this.
The following stages will vary for each project:
OUTLINE OR MASTERPLAN
PLANTING PLAN
CONSTRUCTION, any construction work that’s required can be carried out by recommended Landscape Contractors
THE PLANTS can be supplied and planted following the construction of the garden.
A MAINTENANCE SCHEDULE can be supplied detailing how the garden should be cared for as it develops.
You may want to implement the changes yourself; alternatively I can obtain quotes from recommended landscape contractors, organise all the work for you and also monitor the progress if you require.
